Happy New Year’s Eve everyone! I hope you’re all excited for the festivities tonight. I hope you all had good Christmas breaks, and are looking forward to the start of 2017 – let’s face it, I think everyone just wants 2016 to be over now!
I thought I’d round up the end of this year with my top 20 recipes of 2016, I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them :)
2016 has been an incredibly hard year for many people around the world, and most of us are kind of wishing for this mess to be over, but I’ve been trying to focus on the positives!
I ran the London Marathon this year, did a bit of travelling, moved to Paris, and went freelance as a journalist, so there has been some upsides for me – please leave your ‘positives of 2016’ in the comments below!
My New Year’s resolutions this year are to enjoy my year of working abroad, as well as to donate some money each month to aid in Syria and Yemen. Sometimes all the conflict and awful events in the world can make you feel powerless, but if everyone just donates a bit of time or money, it does make a huge difference.
I hope you all enjoy your New Year’s Eve events tonight, and I hope you have a fabulous year.
Lots of love, Emily x
