I moved house!

Guess what? I moved house! Well, flat.

I mentioned this in my last post a week ago, but I’ve recently moved out of my mum’s house and started renting a flat in London with two of my friends! It’s a big life step for me, and I couldn’t be happier with the place we’ve found (by an insane stroke of luck!) In my journalism job at the moment I work quite a bit from home, so I’m really grateful to be working and living in a lovely place with two brilliant people.

It’s a converted girl’s school, so it’s very echoey and quirky, and you can definitely tell what bits used to be what – my wardrobe looks like it could have been the perfect store cupboard, and the windows definitely remind me of being in a big, open classroom!

We’ve also become addicted to fairy lights and they are now covering almost every square inch of the place… They make for a cosy dΓ©cor, what can I say?! As you can see from my bedroom photos, I’ve also nearly finished knitting my patchwork blanket, which has been four years in the making now!

Anyway, I wanted to share some photos because I’m so happy, and to show you all what I’ve been so busy with over the past few weeks, so I hope you like them!

Let me know in the comments below if we need any more decorations or if you have any tips for what we should put in the flat!

  3. Hey, congrats! I will be looking for a place to move in London in a few months – whereabouts are you based, and if you don’t mind me asking, how much per month do you pay?

    • Thank you! I live in South London (Clapham) – it depends on what you’re looking for in regards to what you’ll pay. I’m living with friends in a nice flat so I’m paying a little more, but if you’re looking for a house share with strangers you might be able to find somewhere for ~ Β£500 PM x
