Chilli and Lime Corn

At Latitude Festival (and probably every other festival in England…) last year they had this amazing corn on the cob stand, which did chilli and lime corn as one of the variants, so I thought I’d make it at home because I’m going travelling instead of going to a festival this year. It’s so ridiculously hot outside at the moment in London, so eating this was a really light, summery snack to eat alongside lunch, as there’s nothing worse than eating heavy food when it’s boiling hot outside – I just listened to some Bowie and pretended I was at a festival again :)

Oh, and those definitely are Minnie Mouse corn on the cob holder things… I’ve had them since I was about five!

A few ears of corn


Chilli flakes

Vegan spread or butter


  1. Cook the corn in boiling water.
  2. Melt some margarine on top, then drizzle with lime and sprinkle with chilli flakes.

Serves one
