I have a chest infection, boo :(
I’ve had no voice and violent coughing fits for the last three weeks, which I haven’t helped by drinking copious amounts and going out every night… So I thought that in order to combat my dreadful student lifestyle I would make a poorly throat smoothie in the hopes that it would make me feel a bit better, or at least would taste good if all else fails. Honey’s supposed to really help your throat, but if you’re a really strict vegan then I guess agave syrup would probably do the trick :)
Here’s hoping this performs a miracle, I’m starting to miss my voice sounding remotely female.
200ml of soy milk
Half a banana, chopped up
One teaspoon of lemon juice
One tablespoon of honey (or agave syrup if you’re a really strict vegan)
A little sprinkling of powdered ginger
- Blend it all together.
