Mango & Banana Smoothie

It’s that time again.Β When Emily feels productive, she makes smoothies.

The sun’s (sort of) shining, David Bowie’s on loud, and I’m cracking out revision at 11am, which is a good sign, so I thought I’d make a smoothie to mark the occasion. It’s a nice one as well, I’ve always loved mango and banana and they were on offer in the supermarket so I thought I’d finally give it a go. Suitable for anyone who feels like something sunshine-coloured and fruity to help them along with studying or making an effort with life in general.

Good news as well, me and a few friends have bought tickets and are arranging going inter-railing around Europe for four weeks over the Summer – I can’t wait, it’s going to be amazing :)

Also, I couldn’t find any glasses, so it’s in a mug. Sorry.

  1. I definitely have half a mango left in my fridge that has been wondering what will be done with it…totally making this smoothie.

  2. The instructions are just too damn complicated for me to keep up with! Haha I do love smoothies, will definitely be trying this :-)

  3. sounds delicious :D i know it’s something dead simple but the diluting juice from Tesco that is their own brand Peach and Apricot is actually spectacular! if you want something that tastes like smoothie on a budget that you can drink til you explode then that is definitely the thing to go for. it’s like 89p a litre but tastes rich and fresh and in summer, in a tall glass, bit of frit to garnish and a mini umbrella in it, you could almost convince yourself you are on a beach :D
