Work Experience!

Remember that lovely magazine that published one of my recipes way back last August, Fresh Produce Journal? Well I had work experience with them this week! I’ve been so excited for this, as I’ve always known I wanted to write for a living, but I’ve never really known what I wanted to do, or had any sort of direction, and now that I’ve had a little bit of experience writing in a journalist style, I feel a bit more like I won’t be floundering about having an existential crisis when I leave university (have had enough of them already!) It was really fun though, despite the commute (now I know why people from London have a reputation for grumpiness, having a business man elbow you in the face at 8am is never fun), and I really feel like I learnt something there, so thanks so much to Fresh Produce Journal for having me :)

So, I actually did write a few articles for them, and some of them were published in this week’s copy of the magazine, so here’s a picture of the page I wrote:

Wrote this page :)

…. Aaaannd, here’s what I wore for the four of the five days (was in too much of a rush to get a picture on Thursday), I’m proud of myself for this, as I’m usually surgically attached to my Doc Martens and look a bit scruffy, so I’m very happy to look professional just for this week, it made me feel so grown up! I am listening to some Smashing Pumpkins now though to counteract the neatness :)

Hope you enjoy my display of adultiness, it’s the reason I haven’t been doing recipes this week, will get back on track soon, promise.
