Rose & Raspberry Porridge (Valentine’s Day Breakfast!)

So… Spending Valentine’s Day single was actually the most fun I’ve had in a long time. I thought it would completely suck, considering I’ve only been single for a month, but I thought about it, and changed my attitude – Valentine’s doesn’t have to be a day you spend lavishing gifts on a partner, it’s about love primarily, and that doesn’t have to mean romantic love. There’s so much love in my life, I have amazing friends, and a wonderful family, and so I thought that if I just changed the way I see it, it would still be an awesome day (made even more awesome by the fact that I don’t have to spend a tonne on presents!)

So basically, I spent the day watching rom-coms and eating great food, then I went out with my flatmates for a meal in the evening, which was really lovely! How did you guys spend it? If I’m taken next year I swear I’ll make some romantic chocolates or something like that, but for now I’ll just leave you with my very pink breakfast, hope you have a great day, happy Valentines! It tasted really yummy by the way, so try it whenever you feel like a really girly breakfast!
