I’ve just got back from a horrendously muddy Latitude Festival and so I thought I’d post some pictures of some of the acts that I saw there and some of the lovely festival food – I’m genuinely not being sarcastic when I say that by the way, the food stands were really incredible. Matt made a pledge to eat at a different stand each lunch and dinner, and he said his favourites were pizza, ostrich burger (!?), chorizo and halloumi burger and Thai green curry. I ate at the same stand every day and mainly lived off veggie burgers and free snacks given out in the little ‘village’ – I think at one point me and Matt had amassed 16 free McVities Medley bars in one go, which is quite impressive. I also bought my own little stash of cereal, raisins and (oddly) Quorn slices – but I survived, and I’m very happy to finally have hot food again!

The acts were also amazing, we saw loads of comedians and poets, as well as Laura Marling, Bon Iver (eternal confusion as to whether it’s pronounced Bon Eye-Ver or Bon Eee-Vair), the Horrors and Richard Hawley to name a few – we also really liked a girl called Lucy Rose, a newcomer who we thought we’d see, she’s lovely and a really good singer, so check her out. So here are some of my photos, please think of coming to Latitude next year, as I had so much fun!

Oh and also, I’m going to Cornwall with my Mum for 5 days tomorrow, so again, I won’t be posting for a little while – staying put after then though, so look forward to lots of veggie recipes over the rest of the Summer :)
